The Love Songs of the 90s We All Miss

Written by Emily Rokke

What can we say about 90s love songs? They’re passionate, beautiful, and they always remind us of something. We think of what we were doing when we heard the song or where we were, how old we were, something. Here are some great ones.

The Love Songs of the 90s: All By Myself

Celion Dion was easily one of the biggest love song singers of the 1990s. I don’t know why but every time this song reminds me of a girl sitting, alone, at a school dance. No date and no on to dance with or talk to. Aww.

Also, let’s all think of “My Heart Will Go On.” No one will even forget this as Titanic’s theme song. Here’s the music video, for fun and reminiscing.

Truly Madly Deeply did it right with this song. I’ll be your dream, I’ll be your wish, I’ll be your fantasy.” I mean, what more could a person want? You can tell my middle school age with what reminds me of this song, too. Yup, you guessed it, a school dance. But, are you kidding? I mean this is the perfect and most sway worthy song, yet.

The Love Songs of the 90s: All My Life

Boyfriends dedicated this song to their girlfriends in the 90s. Their first girlfriend. Yes, this is from personal experience. This song by K-Ci & JoJo is the real deal. Right away, you’re fam. You’re their everything. You’re their whole life. Talk about truly, madly and deeply.

Elton John – Can You Feel The Love Tonight

Lion King. Every single time this song reminds us of Lion King. While the movie isn’t a favorite, the song is. This beautiful tune and the sunsets of the safari pair perfectly for the prettiest visuals and breathtaking sights in this fun, animated tale.

What’s your favorite throwback 90s love song? No matter what year it is, we will always love the songs of the 90s.
