The Spice Girls Are Back and Here Are The Dets

Written by Emily Rokke

The Spice Girls have announced a 2019 tour and fans are beside themselves. Decades later after Victoria Adams, Melanie Brown, Melanie Chisholm, Michelle Stephenson and Geri Halliwell met, the group has rejoined for a reunion show. Or more.

They’ve sold millions of hits and have already had a reunion. Here’s everything else you need to know about the Spice Girls in 2019 and going forward.

They sold out three Wembley Stadium shows, three shows at Manchester’s Etihad Stadium, and three dates in Edinburgh, Bristol, and Coventry. Because of this, another tour date has been announced and it’s in Wales.

They are set to perform at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium on May 27th, 2019. Tickets will go on sale on October 16th at 9:30 a.m. and it’s safe to say they will sell out fast.

So if you’re interested, do not delay your purchase. And if you want something you can literally hold on to, you should get your hands on one of their charity t-shirts.

The chic charity t-shirts join a collection of slogan tees and read #IWANNABEASPICEGIRL. And really, who doesn’t? The minimalist design speaks to todays generation and it is also available in a grey hoodie and white sweater.

Proceeds from the sales will go towards Power Up, a program within Comic Relief’s Gender Justice.  The cause champions for equality for women and girls.

‘Equality and the movement of people power has always been at the heart of the band. It is about equality for all, “every boy and every girl”,’ said the Spice Girls in a statement. ‘We recently found out that charities focused on issues faced by women don’t get the funding that they desperately need, so launching a campaign to raise funds for these issues is incredibly important to us and an area we want to support.’
