The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air
In this comedic 90s show, Will Smith plays a fictionalized version of himself. He comes from West Philadelphia and is sent to live with his wealthy aunt and uncle from Bel-Air. The best part about this show is how comedic it is. Will is always getting into trouble, Hillary is always shopping and with her head in the clouds, and Carlton, well, his dance! If you already love this show, or are a newbie, you’re in luck! The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air airs as a rerun all the time, so just check your local listings to see when you can tune in.
Full House was a feel-good, family-friendly sitcom throughout the (late 80s) and early to mid 90s. Danny was a widower with three little girls, and lucky enough, a best friend, and an uncle to help him out. Each episode had an issue or problem that the family would inevitably talk through and work out by the end. There was lots of hugging, caring, and talking about feelings throughout this show. And if you loved Full House, you have to see Fuller House. This spin off shows DJ as the widower with three kids, boys, to raise. Kimmy and Stephanie move in to help. Just jump on Netflix and let the bingeing begin.
If not these, there is a slew of other shows and sitcoms from the 90s, and you don’t have to be a teen to enjoy them! What are your favorite 90s shows?
